The room at Sky Palace Hotel in Guilin was like stepping into a cozy sanctuary. It made me feel right at home with its warm and inviting atmosphere. The electronic key security gave me peace of mind, knowing that my belongings were safe. The private bathroom was a cherry on top, offering convenience and privacy. it was a delightful experience for me.
I wasn't a huge fan of the shared bathrooms at Sky Palace Hotel. But hey, that's just my personal preference.

The hotel is conveniently located right in the heart of the city, close to the main streets with food markets and just a stone's throw away from the lakes. the rooms are cozy and clean, with comfortable beds and adorable tatami design. the staff is friendly and helpful, providing assistance with tour arrangements and travel plans. the communal area is spacious and offers a lovely atmosphere, especially on sunny days.
The WiFi was slow as a turtle and there were very few guests, which could be problematic during busy periods.

The staff were super friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. The location was perfect, within walking distance to the ancient temple and shopping street. The highlight was definitely the rooftop terrace with an incredible view. It was so cool to chill out there with my friends, enjoying the sunshine and beautiful scenery.
Only thing I'd ask for is a better nightlife scene nearby. It would have been even more fun if there were more options for young party-goers like us.

What an amazing stay! The staff was absolutely incredible, allowing us to check-in late and even giving us a discount for an additional night in the rice fields. The main floor blew my mind, with its reception, bar, terrace, and games room – perfect for hanging out and planning our day. The view from the terrace was jaw-dropping, a great spot to relax. Oh, and let's not forget the coffee – the best we had in our entire three-week trip in China! The staff was super helpful with advice and not pushy with tours. Definitely recommend staying here, with its friendly staff, great location, and superb amenities like Wi-Fi, 24-hour reception, flat-screen TV. Just fantastic!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. They even allowed us to check-in very late and gave us a reduction for a night we ended up staying in the rice fields. The main floor of this place is absolutely superb. It has everything you need, from the reception and bar to the terrace and games room. It's the perfect spot to hang out, eat, drink, and plan your day or review your evening. Not to mention the amazing view from the terrace, which is a great place to relax in the sun. The staff also deserves a special mention for their great advice and not pushing the hostel tours too much. And let's not forget about the coffee - it was the best we had in China during our three-week trip!

Stayed at a hotel with a killer bar attached, so I got to chat only with drunk people. Best way to meet locals, right?
Such a shame that I couldn't meet anyone sober.

Great Value for Money
The hotel is located at a central spot, which makes it easy to access all the major attractions around town. The staff is friendly and accommodating, and the rooms are clean and well-maintained. The terrace is a great place to relax and enjoy the view. Another great aspect of the hotel is the fact that budget tours are offered, that can take you to the most important sights in the area. the food served at the hotel's restaurant is delicious and affordable.
Although the hotel is in a central location, it can be tricky to find. It would be helpful if the hotel provided more specific directions or a map for those who are not familiar with the area.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel in the city center. The location is perfect, just a short walk away from the main walking street, the river, and many of the city's main attractions. The hotel facilities are great, everything was very clean and the staff was very friendly. The breakfast was good, and I found it easy to park my car nearby.
Nothing that I didn't like.
